Understanding Deeper Developmental Needs: an online course for Waldorf teachers, with Dr. Blanning
Announcing the start of a six-part, monthly course exploring constitutional polarities relating to movement development and learning styles (this is the first year of a planned two-year course)
This set of online sessions, designed for Waldorf school teachers and anthroposophic therapists working with children, will draw from the first two sections of Dr. Blanning’s book, Understanding Deeper Developmental Needs. These online workshops assume that participants already have foundation knowledge of anthroposophic concepts and vocabulary (it is not intended as an introductory course). The course has developed out of specific requests from groups of teachers in both Australia and Estonia who have been working closely with the material. For this reason:
· one set of meetings will happen on Tuesday mornings U.S. Time (9am PST/10am MST/12pm EST) which will be Tuesday evenings in Europe (5pm WET/6pm CET/7pm EET),
· the other set at the end of day Fridays U.S. time (Generally 4pm MST/6pm EST) which will be Saturday mornings in Asia/Australia (7am Taipei-CST/10am Sydney-AET/12pm NZT).
Teachers from any and all countries are invited to participate, and encouraged to also spend time studying the material with local colleagues in their schools or communities. The sessions will be recorded and made available to participants in the course.
Each session with last approximately 90 minutes, with about an hour of presentation time, followed by question and answer.
