Rocky Mountain Regional Medical Meeting
November 3, 2017 @ 4:30 pm - November 5, 2017 @ 12:00 pm$50 - $175.00
When: 4:30pm, Friday, November 3rd, to Noon, Sunday, November 5th
Join us as we work with the first lecture of the “Course for Young Doctors”, exploring Steiner’s descriptions of the “fluid man,” how we can observe and appreciate the finely differentiated “warmth organism.” We will also discuss how an anthroposophic medicine actually works in the body (using the example of Horsetail) and see how a beehive can give us important pictures of spiritual activity. A multi-disciplinary gathering, with lots of conversation and hands-on experience. A special welcome is extended to pre-med, medical students and residents with tuition discounts and scholarships available.
Course tuition: $175 ($50 for students in a medical/nursing training) which includes Friday Dinner, three meals on Saturday, breakfast and lunch on Sunday.
Location: The Denver Waldorf School, 2100 S. Pennsylvania Street, Denver, CO 80210
Transportation from the Airport: We recommend supershuttle (www.supershuttle.com), or renting a car. Uber is also an option. Taxis are quite expensive and not recommended.
Lodging: the best option is the La Quinta Inn Cherry Creek, about two miles away from the school at 1975 South Colorado Boulevard. We have reserved a block of rooms. The rates are $98.10 for single and adult occupancy per night per room, $102.60 for triple and quadruple adult occupancy per night per room (for both standard room with 2 beds, or standard king room).
Contact the hotel directly or our Group Desk at 1-800-642-4239, Option 1 and ask for the special rate for Rocky Mountain Medical at Denver Cherry Creek. Reservations must be made no later than 10/13/2017 in order to guarantee this special rate.If you would like to find a roommate to share a room, please let us know and we will try to pair people up. If you are staying at the LaQuinta but do not have a car we will arrange some shuttling back and forth at the beginning and end of the meeting days. If you will have a car and can help with that process, please let us know when you register—that is a great help!
